Muddiest Point

LAN's seem messy to me. Wires must be taped down, hidden, etc. There always seems to be a tangle of wires in a back room somewhere. In the future, do you think routers, modems, etc will be hardwired into the computers themselves, allowing systems to become completely wireless?

I definitely don't have an answer to your muddiest point, but I do think that it's an interesting point. I work at a radio station where we have rooms and rooms just full of wires connecting us to the internet and satellites and probably other things I don't understand, and sometimes I wonder how people know what they all belong to, or more importantly how that many wires all bunched together can even be safe. I would be all for a completely wireless or at least more wireless internet.

yes, it is an interesting thoughts. we are actually move toward wireless so that there will be less and less wires to manage. Once the wireless speed (or at least at end user side) is equal to wired speed, we will see more wireless and less wires.
